Ways of Seeing
Featuring the Photography of D. Stuart Svoboda and Krishna Palagummi
Bringing together the photography of D. Stuart Svoboda and Krishna Palagummi, Ways of Seeing explores how beauty reveals itself through light, texture, scale, and form. Moving between intimate details and expansive views, the artists invite us to look more closely at the natural and human-made worlds—and to linger over what might otherwise go unnoticed.
Svoboda emphasizes the visual language of texture, tonality, and geometry, often isolating details to create images that resist fixed narratives and encourage personal interpretation. Palagummi is drawn to places, light, and fleeting encounters that inspire wonder. By stitching multiple frames into a single photograph, he combines the scale of a sweeping landscape with the detail and softness of a closer view, capturing places as they felt to experience—vast and intimate at once.
on display September 2 through september 28, 2026
Together, their photographs create a dialogue between the near and the distant, abstraction and place, stillness and movement. Ways of Seeing celebrates photography not simply as a record of what surrounds us, but as an invitation to pause, observe, and experience the world anew.
Join us at the Arts Warehouse at Cherry Hill on Saturday, September 12, for the opening reception of Ways of Seeing. Stop by between 6:00 and 8:00pm to meet the artists, view the exhibit, and enjoy a variety of light refreshments. There is no cost to attend, and all are welcome!
