Shared Frequencies

Featuring Chris Dragan, Cassidy Barnett, and Chase Linden

This March, the Village Arts Factory presents a vibrant pop-art exhibition showcasing three dynamic artists whose work reimagines contemporary culture through bold color, layered imagery, and personal narrative.

Chris Dragan (DraganPopArt) brings an energetic fusion of pop art, abstraction, and bricolage. Working with acrylics, oils, inks, vintage magazines, comics, and found materials, Dragan constructs visually striking compositions that invite viewers to interpret and emotionally engage with iconic imagery and unexpected textures.

Cassidy Barnett explores memory, materiality, and personal history through screen printing, painting, and fabric manipulation. Her layered works—often incorporating textiles and translucent surfaces—examine how recollection shifts over time, blending nostalgia with contemporary visual language.

on display march 3 through march 28, 2026

Chase Linden, creator of OAOWORLD, merges music, fashion, and visual art into colorful, imaginative worlds rooted in curiosity and positive energy. His bold, graphic style and sculptural elements reflect a playful spirit that connects viewers to creativity and community.

Together, these artists offer distinct yet complementary approaches to pop-inspired expression—celebrating color, culture, memory, and imagination.

Join us at the Village Arts Factory on Friday, March 13, for the opening reception of Shared Frequencies. Stop by between 6:00 and 8:00pm to meet the artists, view the exhibit, and enjoy a variety of light refreshments. There is no cost to attend and all are welcome!

on display February 2 through february 28, 2026

Highlights will include works by this year’s top honorees from the 31st Annual Canton Fine Arts Exhibition, such as:

  • Third Place: Hive Mind by Kimberly Raboin
…along with other merit and honorable-mention award recipients from the juried show.

Second Glances

Featuring Canton’s 2025 Award-Winning Artists

The Second Glances exhibition at the Village Arts Factory returns in February 2026 as a compelling celebration of artistic achievement and creative depth in the Canton community. Drawing inspiration from previous Second Glances shows — which have spotlighted award-winning artists from the Canton Fine Arts Exhibition and invited audiences to explore their work beyond the initial awards display — this year’s exhibition promises a rich, immersive experience that honors both craft and vision.

Following the success of past Second Glances exhibitions that brought juried winners back into focus with expanded bodies of work and artist receptions, the 2026 show will feature selected 2025 Fine Arts Exhibition winners alongside additional pieces that reflect each artist’s broader creative voice. This Second Glances format allows viewers to “take a second look” at works that first captured juror and public attention in October, while also discovering new facets of each artist’s practice.
