Bhangra Dance Night at the Arts Warehouse

Join us for our first Bhangra Dance Night at the Village Arts Warehouse! Bring yourself or a dance partner and enjoy learning this high-energy dance from the Punjab region of India. Indian-style bites and snacks will be available for participants to enjoy before the dance lesson begins. The cost is just $15 per person or $25 for a pair. This class is geared for young adults and adults, ages 16+ only, please. Come and meet new friends, experience Punjabi culture through food and dance, and leave feeling energized and invigorated!

What is Bhangra?

Bhangra is a high-energy dance from Punjab, known for its powerful movements, upbeat music, and infectious rhythm. It’s all about having fun, expressing yourself, and bringing great energy to the floor. This class is beginner-friendly and open for young adults and adults, ages 16+. Participants will learn simple steps, easy combinations, and get a feel for the style and vibe of Bhangra. No experience needed, just come ready to move and have a good time.

Instruction will be led by RVD Academy, a local dance academy dedicated to sharing Indian culture through dance.

Event Information

6:30pm — Arrival, Snacks & Social Time

7:00pm — Bhangra Dance Instruction

8:00pm — Event Conclusion
