SUMMARY:Canton's 15th Annual Brews\, Brats\, and Bands
DESCRIPTION:Since 2010 Brews\, Brats and Bands has been a popular Canton tradition. On Saturday\, September 14\, 2024\, from 6-9 p.m. craft beer lovers and the 21 and over crowd are invited to attend Canton’s Annual Brews\, Brats\, and Bands\, at its NEW location this year at the Heritage Park Amphitheater\, located behind the Canton Administration Building at 1150 S. Canton Center Road. Preparations are well underway for this special event\, which will be hosted by Canton Leisure Services and the Village Arts Factory\, and sponsored by Schoolcraft College and Provision Living Senior Living Communities. \n“Any event involving drinking craft beers\, eating brats\, and listening to music with friends and family is bound to be a good time\,” said Kevin Ryan\, Village Arts Factory Program Director. “It’s important to note that with construction taking place in our usual location of Preservation Park\, we are temporarily relocating this popular fall event to Heritage Park\, which is the only change to this annual event that will feature over 50 specialty beers\, ciders\, and seltzers in one location.” \nLimited chairs and tables will be provided\, so attendees are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs. \nFor more information on Canton’s Brews\, Brats\, and Bands\, visit www.cantonmi.gov/678. Remember\, please drink responsibly and always assign a designated driver.

SUMMARY:Glass Fusion Workshop: Pumpkin Patch
DESCRIPTION:We’ve partnered with Kiss My Glass to offer this fun and unique glass fusion workshop at the Village Arts Factory! Please join us on September 17th to create this seasonal pumpkin night light or tea light candle holder; approx. size 3.5″ x 4″. The cost is just $36 per person. \nNo experience necessary and all materials will be provided. This design is super easy. All pieces will be pre-cut for you and you can design your pumpkin layout like a puzzle or mosaic. If you choose to cut\, dexterity is needed for light cutting\, so bring your best pair of glasses\, too! There will be plenty of room to add your own creativity. This class is also appropriate for children age 10+ who are accompanied by a paid adult who will cut the glass for them. (Due to limited seating\, you will need to purchase registrations for both parent and child.) \nYou will create your design by using a special tac glue as an adhesive and all projects will go home with the instructor to be kiln fired and assembled and delivered back to the center in about 10 days. An email will be sent out when ready for pickup. Please let your friends and family know about the fun! \nCancellation Policy: Registrations may be cancelled and refunded up to 7 days before the date of the workshop. Due to the nature of this workshop and the need to purchase materials and supplies in advance\, we cannot offer refunds within 7 days of the workshop date. You may transfer your registration to someone else or receive a teacher-made finished project instead.
