We will meet at the Village Theater at 10am for refreshments and a tour of the current exhibit at The Gallery at Cherry Hill. Next\, we’ll take a stroll through beautiful downtown Cherry Hill Village as we make our way to the Village Arts Factory. The morning will conclude with a tour of the art gallery exhibit at the Village Arts Factory. The event is free to attend\, but pre-registration is required. SUMMARY:DIY Fall Doormats at the Canton Farmers Market
DESCRIPTION:We’ve partnered with the Canton Farmers Market to offer this fun Fall Doormat Craft Workshop at the Village Arts Factory! Join us during the Farmers Market on Sunday\, October 6 as we get into the creative spirit and create custom fall doormats in celebration of the season. Select from one of eight stencil designs and bring home a beautiful\, fall-themed doormat to decorate your classroom\, porch\, or mudroom. The cost is only $45 and includes all materials! The workshop begins at 10am at the Village Arts Factory and will take approximately one hour to complete. You’ll be able to take your mat home with you that day! All mats are the same standard size: 18”x 30”. This workshop is recommended for ages 16+ but a child may attend with their parent. \nPre-registration is highly recommended\, but select mat designs will be available for walk-ins during the workshop hours\, first come\, first served. Come and create your own personalized Fall Doormat while enjoying your favorite coffee\, food\, art\, and vendors at the Canton Farmers Market! SUMMARY:Glass Fusion Workshop: Upcycled Garden Owl
DESCRIPTION:Please join us in October to create this super cute Garden Owl Yard Art! All materials will be provided to make your own upcycled garden owl out of glass. The glass plates are approx. 10- 11″ tall and 6″ wide. You will have several different glass gem color combinations to design with and can display your owl indoors or out. If you choose to display on a metal stake (not included) an attachment on the reverse side is included so that you can insert it into the ground. These metal rebar stakes can be found at Menards/Home Depot/Lowe’s for about $6. (You do not need to bring this to class with you.) \nInstructor Laurie with Kiss My Glass will show you step-by-step during this instructional course. Your project will be made using an outdoor-safe adhesive (with a caulking gun) and will be a make-and-take craft\, so it will go home with you\, assembled that evening. \nImportant Information: \nPLEASE BRING A BOX (approx. 12″ x 15″ wide x 5″ deep)\, PAIR OF CLEAN GARDENING GLOVES TO USE FOR THE CAULKING GUN\, AND SEVERAL “PACKAGING PAPER/NEWSPAPER” TO PROP UP YOUR PROJECT INSIDE THE BOX so you can take it home to dry. PLEASE KEEP THESE ITEMS (EXCEPT GARDENING GLOVES) IN YOUR CAR UNTIL THE END OF THE CLASS. \nCancellation Policy: Registrations may be cancelled and refunded up to 7 days before the date of the workshop.
