SUMMARY:Glass Fusion Workshop: Upcycled Garden Owl
DESCRIPTION:Please join us in October to create this super cute Garden Owl Yard Art! All materials will be provided to make your own upcycled garden owl out of glass. The glass plates are approx. 10- 11″ tall and 6″ wide. You will have several different glass gem color combinations to design with and can display your owl indoors or out. If you choose to display on a metal stake (not included) an attachment on the reverse side is included so that you can insert it into the ground. These metal rebar stakes can be found at Menards/Home Depot/Lowe’s for about $6. (You do not need to bring this to class with you.) \nInstructor Laurie with Kiss My Glass will show you step-by-step during this instructional course. Your project will be made using an outdoor-safe adhesive (with a caulking gun) and will be a make-and-take craft\, so it will go home with you\, assembled that evening. \nImportant Information: \nPLEASE BRING A BOX (approx. 12″ x 15″ wide x 5″ deep)\, PAIR OF CLEAN GARDENING GLOVES TO USE FOR THE CAULKING GUN\, AND SEVERAL “PACKAGING PAPER/NEWSPAPER” TO PROP UP YOUR PROJECT INSIDE THE BOX so you can take it home to dry. PLEASE KEEP THESE ITEMS (EXCEPT GARDENING GLOVES) IN YOUR CAR UNTIL THE END OF THE CLASS. \nCancellation Policy: Registrations may be cancelled and refunded up to 7 days before the date of the workshop. Due to the nature of this workshop and the need to purchase materials and supplies in advance\, we cannot offer refunds within 7 days of the workshop date. You may transfer your registration to someone else or pick up a take-home kit from the instructor instead.
