SUMMARY:Art Gallery Reception & Open House
DESCRIPTION:The Village Arts Factory is thrilled to present the stained glass art of Robert Wollenhaupt in his first solo exhibit\, titled “Coming Full Circle.” Founder of Woolhead Glassworks studio\, Wollenhaupt is a Michigan native who has developed his own unique processes to create stained glass and steel panels over the last 3 years. Utilizing his experience as a mechanical engineer\, the artist uses a CNC Fiber Laser to precisely cut the steel frames that both support and frame his pieces. This pioneering technique allows Wollenhaupt to explore finishes that cannot be used with traditional stained glass art\, such as powder coating\, printed vinyl\, and epoxy resin. Both glass and frame are thus masterfully unified into a singular expressive work. \nJoin us for the Art Gallery Reception and Open House on Thursday\, March 14 at the Village Arts Factory from 6 to 8pm. Browse the artwork\, meet the artist\, and enjoy a variety of light refreshments. This event is free to attend and open to the public. A special Q&A discussion with the artist will begin at 6:30pm. Come and learn about Wollenhaupt’s time working at the W.E. Hennells factory and warehouse\, which is now the site of the Village Arts Factory.

DESCRIPTION:Come and celebrate the return of spring with Sensory Bunny Visits at the Village Arts Factory! Each registered family will be allotted a 10-minute time slot to enjoy a friendly visit with the Sensory Bunny. Families are welcome to take free photos with their own phones or cameras; a professional photographer will not be present. Registered families will also enjoy an Easter craft project and every kid will go home with a keepsake from the Bunny. This event is free to attend and pre-registration is required. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 1-hour Barre fitness class followed by an afterglow with refreshments at the Village Arts Factory in Cherry Hill Village! Barre is a low-impact\, high-intensity workout that combines ballet\, Pilates\, and yoga. It’s a great way to tone your muscles\, improve your flexibility\, and burn calories. No previous experience necessary and all fitness levels welcome! If you’ve ever been curious to try Barre\, this is the perfect opportunity to sample this fun and unique fitness medium. \nFollowing the Barre class\, our afterglow will include light refreshments such as fruit and nuts\, cheese and crackers\, wine\, and water. There will also be time to socialize\, connect with other attendees\, and explore the art gallery at the Village Arts Factory.
