Unleash Creativity: Empowering Every Child Through Art

About the A.C.E. Program

The Adaptive Creative Expression (A.C.E.) Program is dedicated to nurturing the artistic talents of children and teens with physical, developmental, or intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where participants can explore their creativity, build confidence, and express themselves through various forms of art. By offering tailored workshops and classes, we aim to inspire and empower each individual, fostering a sense of belonging and achievement.
Through the A.C.E. Program, we strive to break down barriers and create opportunities for all young artists to shine. Our experienced instructors and volunteers are committed to adapting activities to meet the unique needs of each participant, ensuring that everyone can fully engage and enjoy the creative process. Join us in celebrating the transformative power of art and the incredible potential of every child.

What Our Participants Say

A smiling family poses together indoors. A woman with blonde hair is on the left, taking a selfie. In front of her is a young boy with short blonde hair and a wide smile, showing missing front teeth. Behind them stands a man in a red zip-up jacket with a white “W” logo and a baseball cap. To the right, a young girl with blonde hair in a ponytail leans in, smiling and holding onto the man’s arm. The background features a dark indoor play or recreation area with orange and blue accents.

“Our family has participated and enjoyed attending A.C.E. with our son over the last year and look forward to these events each month, that allow our son the ability to engage in activities within a sensory friendly environment.

We appreciate the thoughtful themes of each event, as well as the staff and other families coming together to provide the kids opportunities to create art, build relationships and most of all – be themselves! This is not always available in the school setting. A.C.E. is a fantastic program that we are lucky to have.

Thank you for continuing adaptive programs in our community.”

A child sits at a round table covered with a green tablecloth, engaging in an art activity. They are spreading blue paint onto a piece of bubble wrap with a paintbrush, likely preparing to use it for a stamping project. Nearby on the table are art supplies, including a tray of blue paint, a blank white canvas, a decorative “Happy Easter Day” item, and a small bowl filled with faux flowers and cotton balls. Other children and adults stand nearby, observing the activity. The setting appears to be a community or classroom arts and crafts event.

“We are so lucky to be part of the A.C.E. Program! My child loves the pottery, painting, and other crafts that the amazing staff come up with. The program has helped him with making friends and feeling included. A.C.E. has been a wonderful program not only for our child, but has also helped us with meeting other families with special needs children.”
