We’re excited to celebrate the return of spring with an Adaptive Origami Workshop for teens! The art of folding paper, known as origami, has been celebrated and enjoyed for over 1,000 years. Join us on Saturday, May 18th at 3:00pm for a fun afternoon of learning how to create beautiful origami flowers. Our certified therapeutic recreation staff will be on site to ensure that your teen enjoys a safe, supportive, and sensory-friendly environment. This program is recommended for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17 with special physical, development, or sensory sensitivity considerations. Craft activities will be adapted to provide an inclusive experience. The cost is $10 per teen and space is limited to 20. Parents may attend but are not required to stay. This A.C.E. program is generously sponsored by our partners at Canton Community Foundation, Women’s Giving Circle, and Eagles for Children.
