Piece By Piece: A Solo Exhibit by Ghada Ayoub
Join us for the opening reception of Piece By Piece, a solo exhibition by mixed-media artist Ghada Ayoub, on Thursday, February 6, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Village Arts Factory. This exciting exhibit will showcase Ayoub’s intricate mosaic artwork, blending glass mosaic and stained-glass painting to create vibrant, dynamic pieces that capture the light and beauty of the natural world.
Originally from Beirut, Lebanon, and now based in Michigan, Ghada Ayoub’s artistic journey is rooted in a lifelong passion for creativity. After studying architectural drafting and construction management, Ayoub explored her love for art through scholastic competitions in Lebanon, where she received a first-place prize. For Ayoub, art offers a vital escape from daily stress and serves as a channel to reflect on life’s unexpected wonders.
Ayoub’s recent decision to share her work with the broader community has been met with positive reception in local exhibitions, earning critical praise for her unique approach. Inspired by real-life experiences and the beauty of the natural world, Ayoub draws creative energy from exploring galleries and engaging with the work of other artists.
After taking a stained-glass painting course, Ayoub fell in love with the texture and patterns of glass, which she now skillfully integrates into her mixed-media pieces. The interplay of glass colors, light reflection, and her distinctive designs make her artwork come alive, inviting viewers into a world of vibrant expression and beauty.
We invite you to explore Ayoub’s captivating artwork, meet the artist, and enjoy light refreshments at the opening reception. The exhibit will be on display at the Village Arts Factory through the end of February, with gallery hours from 9:00am to 7:00pm, Monday through Saturday.
