A Sci-Fi Adventure in Creativity, Connection, and Imagination
Calling all dads, father figures, and kids ages 7–14! Step away from the screens and blast off into an evening of hands-on fun at the Village Arts Factory. Our sci-fi themed Salvage Robot Workshop is the perfect chance to unplug, get creative, and build something amazing—together.
In this interactive assemblage art experience, each duo will design and construct their own robot sculpture using an exciting assortment of recycled materials, found objects, hardware, scraps, and other unexpected treasures. No experience needed—just teamwork, curiosity, and a spirit of adventure!
🛠️ Together, you’ll dive into:
• Safe and simple tool use
• Creative problem-solving in a “junkyard challenge” style format
• Turning everyday items into original robot characters
• Basic assemblage and mixed-media building techniques
By the end of the night, every pair will head home with a one-of-a-kind robot creation—and the kind of shared memories you can’t make behind a screen.
