Grant Funding Available for Arts and Humanities
The Partnership for the Arts and Humanities is excited to announce a $50,000 grants program to foster cultural, arts, and humanities programming for the Canton community.
The arts and humanities are being broadly interpreted to include the performing arts, visual arts, culinary arts, lectures, exhibitions, poetry slams, writing workshops, and other creative ideas you may have!
Non-profit organizations [501(c)3s], start-ups and individuals are eligible to apply. A total of $50,000 will be awarded and grants are available in two categories:
Level One: Proposals up to $1,500
Level Two: Proposals between $1,501 and $7,500
All awardees must execute the grant activities within the Canton Township geographic area. Criteria used to review the proposals includes:
- Impact of the proposal on the arts and humanities within the Canton community
- Creativity and innovation of the ideas
- Ability to have a broad and diverse reach
- Well-articulated and feasible proposals
- Overall quality of the application
Applications are due on October 30, 2024 (11:59 p.m. ET).
