Build Your Own Mini Golf Hole at the Village Arts Factory!
The Village Arts Factory is thrilled to open applications for community members to design and build their own Mini Golf Hole as part of our 9-hole indoor course this summer!
We invite individuals, community groups, and businesses to apply and bring their creativity to life. Whether you showcase your personality, organization, or artistic vision—the more unique, the better!
Nine applicants will be selected to participate, with each receiving up to $250* in material reimbursements. During the course’s operation, the public will vote for their favorite design, and the winner will take home a Grand Prize of $750!

*Selected participants will submit receipts for materials and supplies upon completion of their hole. Up to $250 of materials and supply costs will be reimbursed to the participant by the Partnership for the Arts & Humanities.
Proposal Requirements:
- Proposal applications must be submitted online by Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
- Applicants must submit a conceptual design or drawing with measurements as part of their application.
- Proposed mini golf holes should be creative, unique, and expressive of you or your organization.
- Proposed mini golf holes should be accessible or adaptable for people of all abilities.
- Proposed mini golf holes should be built with quality materials that can withstand repeated play over 5-weeks.
- Proposed mini golf holes should reflect the family-friendly, public nature of the Village Arts Factory without reference to obscenity, nudity, or political affiliation.
- Applicants will be notified by Friday, April 4, 2025 whether or not their proposal has been selected to move forward.
- Proposed mini golf holes must be completed and delivered to the Village Arts Factory by Monday, June 16, 2025.
Design Recommendations:
- While all design sizes will be considered, we recommend limiting the footprint of your hole to 10 ft x 4 ft to comfortably fit inside the facility.
- Think outside the box! Your proposal does not have to be a traditional ball-and-putter hole. We’ve seen hand-held golf ball mazes, table-top shuffle boards, and Plinko-style ball drops used in the past. Be creative!
